Experience the local life in a typical Cambodian village with your guide! Begin your day with a visit to a rice wine producer and basket weaver, before making your way to a local family home, along the way learning about the crops, animals and farming activities which are the main source of village income.
Enjoy a walking tour of the village, visiting family members along the way and stopping at the site of an ancient Khmer temple, now crumbling back into the ground. Go a little deeper into the countryside, riding on a local style tractor which, literally translated, is called a ‘cow machine’ to the family rice farm
Return to the family home for lunch, cooked in a typical outdoor kitchen. After lunch, take some time to learn about the typical Cambodian family or just relax in a hammock for a while before returning to Siem Reap.

Others: Dress standards are conservative throughout Asia, especially outside major cities. To respect this and for your own comfort, we strongly recommend modest clothing. This means clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. Loose, lightweight, long clothing is both respectful and cool in the predominantly hot Asian climate.
